The Emerald Isles

Before leaving Northern Ireland we finally managed to see a bit of the countryside and took a trip from Belfast to the Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle, then over into Ireland to explore the area.

It was really nice to be out of the city and by the sea again, and interesting to see some of the sights, especially the castle ruins. During our quest we found some ruins perched on top of a hill in the middle of a farm, and after driving round in circles trying to find an access road to no avail, we decided to sneak through some barley fields to reach them.

It was worth trespassing to have a good look around without crowds of tourists with the same idea!
